In this role, you will be responsible for forming, reinforcement installation, and pouring concrete. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping using hand tools, power tools, and specialized finishing equipment Pour concrete into forms and ensure proper placement using concrete mixers and pumps Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete structures according to specifications and safety regulations Cut, shape, and assemble formwork using carpentry skills to create molds for concrete pouring Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to construction safety regulations and using personal protective equipment at all times Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing and related tasks Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work including mixers, power tools, and cutting devices Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper handling of materials such as rebar, formwork components, and heavy equipment Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols.
