In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete-related tasks to bring construction projects to life with precision and quality. From pouring and finishing concrete to installing rebar and constructing formwork, you will play a key part in creating durable, high-quality structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and restoration sites, while adhering to strict safety standards and construction best practices. Duties Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring all materials are ready for concrete pouring Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces using trowels, screeds, floats, and other finishing tools Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Cut, shape, and install concrete components such as slabs, curbs, stairs, and decorative hardscape elements Follow all construction safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members Assist with demolition, restoration work, or renovation projects involving concrete or related materials such as stucco or tile laying Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of tools including power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, and cutting equipment Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing techniques, and rebar installation Knowledge of construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans and specifications Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper use of safety equipment in a construction environment Skilled in working on various construction projects with a focus on safety protocol adherence Competence in using metal stud framing, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, and concrete pumping as needed Join us if you're eager to contribute your hands-on skills in a fast-paced construction environment where safety is paramount!
