Belair is a national family-owned civil sitework business specializing in Earthwork, Concrete, Wet Utilities, Demolition and environmental Remediation with over 60 years of experience. Our project managers split their time between the office and field and have experience in both. We are a company that is process driven and strives to put out the best product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned. Work with field in planning related to concrete flatwork & structures to optimize efficiency of labor and equipment, material and subcontractors. Promote company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices. Complete all documents and reports in an accurate, complete and professional manner. Ensure all government and company requirements relating to safety, health and environment are strictly adhered to and enforced. Secure subcontractors utilizing standard subcontract agreements. Hold preplanning and job start-up meetings to transfer documentation, schedules and information. Attend Project Manager Meetings to stay up-to-date on administrative and market conditions. Monitor productivity goals and build teamwork daily with the field superintendent while respecting the authority of the General Superintendent in providing training, project assignments, and skill requirement. Prepare project documents, material release schedules, client information, project schedules, monthly invoices, payment, closeout documents, warranties, drawings in a timely and accurate manner to give customers the best value and ensure company profitability. Prepare and monitor change orders to be sure they are accurate and billed in a timely manner. Follow "Stop the Job" to notify and resolve problems on the job with the necessary personnel. Identify and communicate problems early. Work with project team and company resources to provide solutions.

Team player Understand costs and schedule Possess good communication skills Proactive in problem resolution Demonstrate the ability to identify an issue and solve problems Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity Understand best value Education and/or Experience Experience in Concrete Flatwork and Utilities Structures BS Degree in Construction Management / Engineering discipline a plus Minimum of 5 years of Project Management/Estimating experience in commercial concrete work. Must have good computer and communication skills. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively within the organization. Other Skills and Abilities Must be able to read and understand construction plans, geotechnical reports and specifications.Job Type:
