Monday-Saturday | 40-70 hours per week during peak season Job Overview We are seeking hardworking and dependable Concrete Finishers/Form Setters to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in residential subdivision construction projects, performing concrete flatwork, curb and gutter installation, sidewalk construction, form setting, grading, concrete placement, and finishing. This is a great opportunity for candidates with 1-2+ years of concrete finishing experience who are looking to build a long-term career in concrete construction. Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn will be highly successful in this role. Responsibilities Set forms to the required grade, pitch, depth, and alignment. Assist with curb & gutter, sidewalk, and flatwork construction. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces. Use hand floats, trowels, jointers, edgers, and other finishing tools. Perform grading and site preparation work. Read and follow layout stakes and project specifications (training provided). Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production goals. Follow all safety guidelines and job site procedures. Work effectively as part of a crew in a fast-paced construction environment. Qualifications 1-2+ years of concrete finishing, form setting, or general concrete construction experience preferred. Experience with flatwork, curb & gutter, sidewalks, or grading is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Must have reliable transportation to job sites. Must provide and maintain personal concrete finishing hand tools. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. What Success Looks Like Arrives ready to work at the start of each shift with tools and equipment prepared. Follows instructions, works safely, and contributes to crew productivity. Learns quickly and demonstrates a desire to develop advanced concrete skills. Concrete finishers are expected to work toward production goals such as setting and pouring approximately 10 yards of concrete per day . Larger curb and gutter crews may place significantly higher volumes. Work Environment Outdoor construction environment. Exposure to varying weather conditions throughout the year. Consistent overtime available, especially during peak construction season. Projects are primarily located throughout the Colorado Springs area. Why Join Us? $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fountain, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
