Job Summary:
Performs skilled concrete work to construct durable, accurate, and visually consistent structural elements. Applies established finishing techniques and technical knowledge to support safe and efficient project completion. Works under moderate supervision while collaborating with crew members and other trades to meet project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Places, levels, and finishes concrete for slabs, walls, and structural components according to plans and specifications. Prepares and inspects formwork and reinforcement for proper alignment and cleanliness before placement. Mixes, handles, and cures concrete to achieve required strength and appearance. Operates and maintains tools and equipment in safe working condition. Follows DPR Construction safety and quality standards at all times. Coordinates with other trades and supervisors to sequence pours and address field issues. Identifies and reports formwork, material, or safety concerns promptly.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2-4 years of experience in concrete construction or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
