Job Summary Backbay Construction, Inc are looking for concrete finishers and Laborers that can work within a team, are reliable and hard working. As a concrete finisher, you must have some experience related to layout, preparation, placement and finishing concrete. This position is expected to perform all aspects of civil concrete flatwork (curb, gutter, sidewalk) with minimal direction from the crew foreman. You are a safety conscience worker that utilizes appropriate safety equipment and procedures related to the job. In a team environment, you will keep the job site, tools, equipment and supplies clean, safe and secure. Dependable transportation is required. Job site locations vary but are primarily in the Gulf Coast area of Florida. This is a full-time position. Candidates must be physically able to perform any and all finisher duties. I Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing and or Laborer Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy machinery operation Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Minimum 2 Years Experience in Curb Work Minimum 2 Years Experience using a Smart Level Join our team if you're passionate about delivering high-quality concrete work that stands the test of time!
