Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Leesburg, FL. This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and improving manufacturing processes within a concrete production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or manufacturing engineering background with hands-on experience in concrete production, testing, quality management, and process improvement. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role Previous experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in a concrete manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of concrete batching processes from start to finish
• Experience performing concrete and slurry/sludge testing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software, 2D drafting, and solid modeling
• Experience managing quality issues, corrective actions, and related documentation
• Ability to manage and develop two direct reports
• Strong data management, reporting, and documentation skills
• Experience overseeing annual concrete certifications and ensuring compliance with state requirements
• Ability to travel to Atlanta approximately 4-5 times per year
