(Department of Transportation) regulations Loader operation Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ready Mix Concrete Driver with a valid CDL A or B license to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver ready mix concrete to various construction sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in construction machinery operation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety regulations will be vital in supporting civil infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to large-scale paving and concrete installation projects, helping build the infrastructure that shapes communities. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with CDL A or B licenses to transport ready mix concrete, asphalt paving materials, and other construction supplies to designated sites. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols during vehicle operation and delivery processes. Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment, screeds, concrete pumps, and other heavy machinery used on construction sites. Support concrete pouring, pumping, forming, rebar installation, and finishing tasks as needed on civil infrastructure projects. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure smooth workflow on busy construction sites. Skills Proven experience operating commercial trucks in construction or paving environments. Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting of trucks and paving machinery. Familiarity with construction machinery such as loaders, screeds, concrete mixers, rebar installation tools, and asphalt paving equipment. Strong understanding of safety regulations including DOT standards, safety protocol adherence, and heavy equipment operation safety measures. Basic math skills for measurement calculations related to concrete mixing ratios and project specifications. Knowledge of concrete materials including bituminous materials used in asphalt paving projects. Ability to work effectively on construction sites within civil infrastructure roles requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
