Job Description

Position Summary Castle Concrete LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on residential and commercial concrete projects throughout Southwest Florida. This is a hands-on leadership position. The Concrete Foreman is expected to work alongside the crew when necessary while being responsible for jobsite organization, layout, production, quality, safety, and keeping projects on schedule. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of concrete construction, be able to read plans and elevations, effectively manage a crew, and take ownership of the project from layout through completion. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete crews on assigned projects. Read and understand construction plans, structural drawings, details, elevations, and specifications. Perform and verify layout, measurements, grades, elevations, and form locations. Coordinate forming of slabs, footings, foundations, thickened edges, sidewalks, driveways, pads, and other concrete structures. Verify reinforcing steel, welded wire mesh, vapor barrier, embeds, dowels, and other reinforcing components are installed correctly. Prepare projects for concrete placement and verify they are ready before trucks arrive. Coordinate concrete pours, including manpower, equipment, concrete trucks, pumps, placement, finishing, and cleanup. Direct finishers, form carpenters, laborers, and other crew members throughout the workday. Maintain production expectations and keep crews moving efficiently. Monitor workmanship and correct problems before they become costly rework. Track daily progress, manpower, materials, and jobsite needs. Communicate material and equipment needs to management in advance. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades as necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Enforce company safety requirements and proper use of PPE. Take responsibility for company tools and equipment assigned to the crew. Identify field conflicts or plan discrepancies and communicate them before proceeding with questionable work. Ensure completed work meets Castle Concrete's quality standards and project requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience preferred . Previous experience as a concrete foreman, lead man, or similar leadership position strongly preferred. Strong experience with concrete forming, foundations, slabs, footings, reinforcing steel, placement, and finishing. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and structural drawings. Ability to perform layout and establish/verify elevations and grades. Strong understanding of concrete placement and finishing procedures. Ability to manage multiple crew members and maintain productivity. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Must be dependable, punctual, and accountable. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to work outdoors in Southwest Florida conditions. Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with concrete construction. What We Expect From Our Foreman A Castle Concrete foreman is expected to take ownership of the job . You should know what the crew is building, what needs to happen next, what materials and equipment are required, and whether the project is on schedule. We expect our foremen to lead from the front, communicate problems early, maintain high workmanship standards, and make sure their crews have what they need to be productive. The goal is not simply to put hours on a job. The goal is to safely produce quality concrete work, efficiently and correctly the first time. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can be handed a set of plans and an assigned crew and can confidently organize and execute the concrete scope with minimal supervision. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 55.0 per week
