Responsibilities Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, and screeds Cut expansion joints and edge along forms to create a smooth, level surface Mix cement, sand, or gravel to specified proportions as needed Wet concrete surfaces and rub with a stone to smooth and finish surfaces Apply sealing compounds, curing agents, and other finishing treatments Repair and resurface concrete surfaces Follow all job site safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
