Residential & Commercial Construction We are seeking an experienced and dependable Tie-Beamer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with tie beams, reinforced concrete, rebar installation, formwork, and structural concrete work and be comfortable working on new construction projects from foundation through structural completion.
Responsibilities:
Construct and install tie beams, bond beams, grade beams, columns, and reinforced concrete members . Read and interpret construction plans, structural drawings, and rebar schedules. Layout and install reinforcing steel according to plans and specifications. Cut, bend, tie, and properly position rebar. Build, assemble, and strip concrete forms. Install concrete forms for beams, columns, walls, and other structural components. Ensure proper dimensions, elevations, alignment, and reinforcement placement. Assist with concrete placement, vibration, finishing, and related structural work. Work with block masons, framers, laborers, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Identify and report potential structural or construction issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements. Work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on construction experience , preferably with reinforced concrete and structural framing. Proven experience constructing tie beams and reinforced concrete structures . Strong knowledge of rebar placement, tying, laps, spacing, and concrete reinforcement. Experience with concrete formwork and layout. Ability to read and understand construction drawings. Ability to accurately measure and follow elevations and dimensions. Experience with residential and/or commercial new construction preferred. Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Must be able to work safely in an active construction environment. Ability to work with and direct laborers when necessary is a plus.
