Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and lively experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings and cater to guest preferences. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption for responsible service. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times. Assist in bar management duties as needed, including opening or closing procedures and cash handling. Promote a lively atmosphere by engaging guests in conversation and providing knowledgeable drink recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, and spirits expertise. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Experience working with beverage offerings like craft beer, wine knowledge, and cocktail creation. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.
