Job Description

Job Summary:
A well-established construction company in Winter Haven is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee and lead concrete crews on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all aspects of concrete construction and the leadership skills needed to manage day-to-day operations on the job site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of concrete laborers and finishers. Plan and execute concrete pours, including forming, placing, finishing, and curing. Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications. Ensure proper layout and alignment for forms and rebar. Coordinate the delivery of materials and ensure equipment is maintained and available. Enforce site safety protocols and ensure crew compliance with OSHA standards. Monitor job progress and report daily activity to the Project Manager or Superintendent. Train and mentor crew members to maintain high quality and efficiency. Solve problems and adjust work procedures as necessary to meet deadlines. Maintain detailed records of hours worked, materials used, and job site incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, rebar installation, and finishing techniques. Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications accurately. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
