Job Description
We are looking for a concrete boom pump operator that is willing to do both boom pumping and line pumping. Must have a CDL A or B. Experience preferred. Generous raise after training. Responsibilities Safely drive the truck to the job site and back to the yard. Keep yard neat and orderly. Set up system and operate the pump in a safe and conscientious manner. Know the pump well enough to recognize problems and report them. Basic mechanical knowledge is highly preferred. Represent the company through efficient work and courteous service. Clean pump promptly after each job and keep system greased. Complete and submit pump inspection forms, job tickets and maintenance forms. Sales skills not required but we will pay bonuses if you can help us get new accounts. Qualifications Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent reading & writing skills. Must have a CDL with an excellent driving record and no manual restriction. Must demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service. Must be a person of high integrity with an excellent, can do attitude. Basic mechanical knowledge preferred. Construction experience highly preferred. Ability to problem solve under pressure Basic math skills Self-starter Physical Demands Must stand or sit for extended periods, use hands to handle, hold or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with arms, talk and hear. Employee will need to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee must frequently lift and/or move large and bulky objects 100+ pounds Operators are exposed to the elements Schedule Typical construction schedule with very early mornings to early afternoon, M-F with occasional weekend jobs. Schedule is set last minute and may change due to weather conditions. Flexibility is required. We do mostly local jobs so you will be home after work almost every day. Occasional overnight stays near a jobsite may be required. We cover travel expenses. Pay & Benefits Starting pay is $20/hr with a generous raise after training. Sick days, holiday and paid vacation. Time and a half for overtime. We are a small family owned business with a family atmosphere.
