Concrete Structures Superintendent

As a Concrete Structures Superintendent, you will oversee all phases of field operations related to concrete work, including foundations, slabs, footings/walls, and structural elements. You will be responsible for scheduling and supervising crews, coordinating with project managers and other project superintendents, scheduling & ordering materials, ensuring schedule compliance, and maintaining top-tier safety and quality standards on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Supervise and coordinate concrete crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Interpret and work from construction drawings, specs, and schedules. Oversee layout, formwork, rebar, placing, and finishing of concrete structures. Coordinate equipment and material deliveries. Maintain detailed daily reports, timesheets, and progress updates. Conduct safety meetings and enforce site safety protocols (OSHA compliance). Collaborate with project management to anticipate issues and resolve problems proactively.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 3 to 5 years in a superintendent or senior leadership role. Extensive knowledge of concrete formwork systems, placing/finishing methods, and structural concrete processes. Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, architectural drawings, structural drawings, and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, field wire or similar) a plus. Valid driver's license, clean MVR and ability to travel as needed.
