Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mason/Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be assisting with various masonry and concrete tasks. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency on every site. Responsibilities Assist with concrete/mortar mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing processes to ensure smooth and durable surfaces. Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures Operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment safely and efficiently during various phases of construction. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately. Perform masonry work including laying stone and other materials as required for project specifications. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights, handling hazardous materials, and operating machinery to maintain a safe work environment. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on masonry or concrete laboring roles. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment, and processes. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Experience with concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and concrete pumping is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand and power tools Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed. Physical stamina for demanding tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
