Job Description
Concrete Foreman Location:
NE Iowa Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm Direct Hire, $35+/hour, plus full benefits Position Overview The Concrete Foreman provides hands-on leadership for concrete construction crews and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role involves both supervising crew members and actively participating in concrete placement and finishing work across a variety of project types. This is a Direct Hire position, meaning the chosen candidate will go onto hiring company's payroll and be eligible for company benefits. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate crews of 5+ employees in a productive and professional manner. Read and interpret construction plans and communicate project requirements to the crew. Coordinate labor, equipment, tools, and materials before and during projects. Assign daily tasks and monitor production, quality, and schedule. Work alongside the crew on concrete placement, finishing, forming, and related activities. Track daily labor, equipment, materials, and production. Operate construction and concrete equipment and maintain a clean, organized worksite. Experience with Trimble or Leica total stations is preferred but not required. Qualifications and Requirements 5+ years of commercial concrete experience, including lead finishing experience with floors and walls. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Reliable work ethic and ability to adapt to changing project needs. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to perform basic math and follow plans/instructions.
