We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming freshly poured concrete into smooth, durable surfaces that meet project specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise finishing techniques, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from commercial developments to residential renovations, contributing to the creation of lasting structures. Duties Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring and finishing processes. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution. Install rebar reinforcement and formwork to prepare for concrete pouring, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Perform concrete cutting, grinding, and sealing tasks to achieve desired textures and finishes. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to coordinate work sequences on construction sites. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and machinery. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in concrete finishing. Proven experience in construction estimating related to concrete work and project planning. Skilled in hardscape installation such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other decorative concrete features. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Expertise in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for heavy lifting, scaffolding, and equipment operation. Proficiency with hand tools (trowels, floats), power tools (grinders, mixers), and heavy equipment used in concrete projects. Experience with rebar installation, masonry work including stucco or plastering, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry or flooring installation as needed for renovation projects. Ability to interpret technical specifications for concrete mixes and schematics for complex forms or restoration work. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions on construction sites. Pay:

$25.84 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 60.0 per week
