Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Concrete Block Plant Operator! In this vital role, you will oversee the plant, while ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the process. Responsibilities Operate forklifts facilitate production processes efficiently and safely Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on mixers, fabrication tools, and other machinery to minimize downtime Oversee the safe handling of hand tools and power tools during construction and manufacturing activities Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work while adhering to safety protocols in all aspects of plant operations Maintain accurate records of production metrics, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance logs Requirements Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot heavy equipment such as forklifts Hands-on experience with welding, machining, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools with a focus on safety standards in production settings Strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments, including proper use of hand tools and power tools Basic math skills for mixture calculations and quality control measurements Outdoor work experience preferred, with a focus on safety protocol adherence in all activities Construction industry experience or related fieldwork background is a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to producing top-quality concrete products while fostering a safe, innovative, and energetic work environment.
