Job description Full Time Laborer In Precast Concrete Plant, CDL a Plus, Company Will Train Precast Concrete Manufacturer Seeks An Energetic Laborer/CSR (Customer Service Representative/Driver).

Note to CDL holders:

This is not a driving only position. All of our drivers/CSR's work in the plant, drive and do vault installations in cemeteries. Candidate must be dependable and must be able to work in an industrial environment. This means you will get somewhat dirty while working at our precast concrete operation. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable with this or are seeking a driving only position. Precast Concrete work is performed inside our heated manufacturing building. CSR/ Drivers work outside at off-site installation locations. In addition to performing precast concrete work in the plant you will be trained to drive, deliver and perform burial vault set ups in local cemeteries. You will be required to obtain: Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and 7 Panel Drug Test Class B CDL Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement CDL Permit (written tests) during the initial 90 day probationary period Obtain the CDL license within 90-days from date of permit issuance. The successful candidate will receive 40-hrs per week. The work day is typically 7:00a.m.

• 3:30p.m. Our business operates 6-days per week: Monday through Saturday. You will be scheduled to work 5-days, with Sunday and a day off during the week. Due to the nature of our business the scheduled day off may vary from week to week. The following attributes are desired for the successful candidate:
• Dependable, conscientious and enthusiastic worker who can attend to details
• You must have a valid driver's license w/clean record, a CDL is a plus
• If no existing CDL, you must complete necessary requirements for obtaining a CDL permit within 90-days of hire date and license 1-yr from permit issuance
• Experience working in a concrete plant/with concrete, or similar work is a plus
• Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus
• Ability to dead lift 100 pounds is required
• You must be able to work on your feet all day (except for breaks and lunch)
• You must be able to bend, reach, and climb on and around steel forms
• You must be focused and safety minded
• You must be able to communicate effectively
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen Starting hourly rate is 21.

45/hour, 22.45 when CDL Permit is obtained, 22.95/hour with Class B w/Air Brake CDL, commensurate with experience. Pay is weekly. The pay rate w/performance requirements will increase to 31.99 +/hr. by your 3-year anniversary date.

Rate increases as follows:

1-yr anniversary: 77% of scale, 2nd year anniversary: 88% of scale, 3rd anniversary: 100%
