Des Plaines, IL On-site, 5 days per week About the Role We are seeking an Estimator with knowledge of water and sewer materials. This position combines estimating, material knowledge, and customer support. You will review construction documents, read blueprints, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare budget proposals for water, sewer, storm drainage, and related utility projects. What You'll Do Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, proposals, scopes of work, and related project documents. Read blueprints and identify materials required for water, sewer, and utility projects. Perform quantity takeoffs for water mains, sewer mains, manholes, hydrants, valves, storm drainage, and related utility work. Prepare accurate budget proposals based on project requirements. Help customers identify materials needed to complete their projects. Work with customers and internal team members to clarify project requirements and material needs. Maintain accurate information throughout the estimating and proposal process.

What We're Looking For Required:

Knowledge of water and sewer materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Ability to perform quantity takeoffs for water, sewer, storm drainage, and related utility projects. Ability to prepare budget proposals based on project documents. Ability to work on-site in Des Plaines Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of assigned work.
