• Ongoing Safety Training & Education What You'll Do As a CTS Concrete Finisher, you'll:
• Spreads concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping.
• Levels, smooths, and shapes surface of freshly poured concrete, using power trowel, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish.
• Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
• Molds expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
• May sprinkle colored stone chips, powered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
• May produce rough concrete surfaces, using broom.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have commercial concrete experience.
• Expect to be able to work independently and with others depending on scope of work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and other field employees.
• Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the concrete trade
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Committed to being drug free.
