NOW HIRING CONCRETE CREW WORKER POSITION OVERVIEW
McGath Concrete & Asphalt is looking for an experienced Concrete Crew Worker to join our team. This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to manage tasks from prep to finish. The successful candidate must be a strong team player, willing to cross-train, and open to learning.
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday:
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Approximately 40 hours per week on the normal schedule. Fridays may be required depending on weather, project schedules, workload, and business needs. Start and end times may change based on weather and jobsite conditions. Schedule flexibility is required. Construction work can be affected by weather, so candidates must be willing to adjust their schedule when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in all job functions, including prep, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete. Work from start to finish on concrete projects. Operate construction machinery safely and efficiently. Work closely with the foreman and crew members to ensure tasks are completed. Participate fully in cross-training to ensure everyone is up to par with job functions. Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements. Communicate effectively with the team regarding project progress and daily objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience working on a concrete or construction crew. Ability to handle all phases of a job from prep to finish, including physical labor. Experience operating jobsite machinery and equipment. Strong commitment to working as part of a team. Openness to cross-training and eagerness to learn. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions. Flexibility to work Fridays, as well as variable start and end times based on weather and project needs.
COMPENSATION
Pay is dependent on experience.
