This role coordinates field operations, resources, schedules, safety, quality, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered successfully. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with experience managing concrete or civil projects and directing field teams. Concrete Project Lead / Superintendent Responsibilities Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and site logistics. Coordinate project activities with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Provide direction to Field Leads and crews to ensure daily work supports overall project goals. Monitor safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and project costs. Review job cost information and adjust manpower, materials, and work plans as needed. Establish production goals and monitor progress against schedule and budget. Identify project risks, resolve field issues, and develop corrective action plans. Coordinate equipment, materials, manpower, and other project resources. Review construction plans and ensure work is performed according to contract requirements. Maintain regular communication with customers regarding progress, needs, and project issues. Conduct routine site inspections and address safety or quality concerns. Coordinate punch-list completion and final project requirements. Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress updates. Coach and develop Field Leads and other construction personnel. Concrete Project Lead / Superintendent Qualifications Experience leading commercial, civil, concrete, or industrial construction projects. Previous superintendent, project superintendent, or construction leadership experience. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, production, safety, quality, and cost control. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and project resources. Comfortable working in an active field environment and communicating directly with customers. Less than 10 years of construction leadership experience is preferred. Concrete experience is highly desirable; strong civil construction experience will also be considered.
