Job Description

Concrete Laborer. 6 temporary, full-time positions. 02/20/2027 to 12/19/2027. LeMay Concrete Construction Inc DBA Jerry's Concrete Foundations Inc. located at 7924 Lookout Drive, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.

jerrysconcretefoundations@gmail.com. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. 40 hours per week. 8-hour workday Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. OT possible 5-15 hours. No minimum education required. No minimum experience is required. No other requirements for employment. The employee will not supervise other workers. Travel will be required. Daily transportation provided by the employer to worksites. Work will be performed in the following counties: Pottawatomie, Riley, Wabaunsee, Clay, Washington, Morris, Jefferson, Douglas, Shawnee, Dickinson, Marshall, Lyon, Osage, Jackson, Leavenworth, Johnson, Republic counties.
Wage:
26.74/hour.
OT Wage:
40.11/hour. Workers paid weekly. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.78/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
