The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction activities. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards of quality and durability. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds. Ensure that all work meets project specifications and quality standards. Repair and restore damaged concrete surfaces as needed. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, welders, and heavy equipment operators. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. Operate hand tools and heavy machinery safely and effectively. Skills Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and best practices. Experience with frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and stucco applications is preferred. Ability to lay tile and perform related tasks as needed. Familiarity with operating heavy equipment on construction sites. Strong knowledge of hand tools used in concrete finishing and general construction. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during the finishing process.
