Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in concrete work, including pouring, finishing, and repairing various concrete structures. As a Concrete Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Concrete Pouring and Finishing:
Accurately pour, level, and smooth concrete surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Formwork Installation:
Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, including slabs, walls, and columns.
Reinforcement Placement:
Place and secure reinforcement materials, such as rebar or wire mesh, to strengthen concrete structures.
Mixing Concrete:
Prepare and mix concrete according to project specifications and ensure proper consistency and quality.
Repair and Maintenance:
Perform repairs and maintenance on existing concrete structures, addressing any cracks, spalling, or other issues.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including project managers, engineers, and laborers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete work, including pouring, finishing, and repair.
Skills:
Proficient in using various concrete tools and equipment, including trowels, screeds, and power tools.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of concrete mixing, curing, and finishing techniques.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
Safety:
Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to concrete work.
Communication:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification:
Certification in concrete work or construction-related fields is a plus Requirements Concrete experience, valid drivers license, understanding of safety standards
