Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description We are seeking experienced Concrete Foremen to join our construction team. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating all field activities related to concrete construction. This position ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Elliot policies and procedures, project specifications, drawings, and schedules. The Foreman leads crews, coordinates with other trades, and maintains high standards of safety, quality and productivity. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following: Supervise and lead concrete crews in daily operations. Plan, schedule, and coordinate concrete placement activities. Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. Ensure proper layout, forming, reinforcing steel placement, and concrete finishing. Coordinate with project superintendent, project manager, and other trades. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA requirements. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safe work practices. Monitor productivity and crew performance. Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment. Maintain quality control to ensure work meets project specifications. Assist in planning manpower, equipment, and material needs. Complete daily reports, time sheets, and documentation. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of:
Concrete forming systems Reinforcing steel placement Concrete placement and finishing Site layout and elevations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Strong leadership and communication skills. Working knowledge of construction safety standards. Ability to operate construction equipment as needed.
