The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various concrete-related tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency in all aspects of the job. Duties Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects. Follow schematics and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in concrete work, including mixers and hand tools. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines. Conduct quality control checks to ensure the integrity of the concrete work. Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam and Primavera for project tracking and documentation. Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols on-site. Experience Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction roles is preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience using an ohmmeter for electrical testing is beneficial. Knowledge of pipeline installation techniques is advantageous. Proficiency in using construction management software, including HeavyBid, is desirable. Ability to supervise junior laborers or apprentices is a plus.
