Experienced concrete leaders: if you can run a crew, read a set of plans, plan a pour, solve problems in the field, and produce quality commercial concrete work, we want to talk to you. Churchill McGee is looking for an experienced Commercial Concrete Foreman to lead concrete crews on commercial construction projects throughout Kentucky and the surrounding region. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who understands concrete construction from layout through final placement and finishing—and knows how to lead people while keeping production, quality, and safety on track. What You'll Do Lead, organize, and supervise concrete crews in daily field operations. Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily production needs. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, elevations, and layouts. Coordinate forming, reinforcing steel, embeds, placement, finishing, curing, and stripping. Lay out work and verify dimensions and elevations before concrete placement. Plan and coordinate concrete pours to maintain production schedules. Work alongside your crew when needed and lead by example. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades. Identify field issues early and help develop practical solutions. Monitor productivity, workmanship, materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain accurate daily field information and communicate progress and upcoming needs. Conduct and enforce jobsite safety practices. Train and mentor crew members while holding the team accountable for performance and quality.

What We're Looking For Required:

5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience. Previous experience leading or supervising a concrete crew. Strong working knowledge of commercial forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, and curing. Ability to independently read blueprints and construction drawings. Ability to understand elevations, dimensions, layout, and sequencing. Proven ability to plan work and keep a crew productive. Strong leadership and communication skills. Commitment to quality workmanship and jobsite safety. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to perform physical construction work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience with commercial foundations, footings, walls, slabs, and structural concrete. Experience operating or coordinating concrete-related equipment. Experience completing daily reports, timekeeping, and production documentation.
