This is a hands-on field role for someone who understands concrete means and methods and can work directly with field crews to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and production. Responsibilities Perform and lead layout for concrete work including footings, foundations, walls, columns, and slabs Layout anchor bolts, embeds, sleeves, and edge conditions Read and interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings Establish and verify control lines, elevations, and benchmarks Coordinate layout activities with superintendents, foremen, and field crews Identify conflicts early and communicate solutions clearly Maintain accuracy in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments Travel from Louisville, KY to job sites as required Requirements 3+ years of concrete construction layout experience Strong understanding of concrete forming systems, sequencing, and tolerances Proficient with total stations, lasers, levels, and layout tools Ability to work independently and lead layout operations in the field Willingness to travel and work extended schedules as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Strong communication skills with diverse field crews Experience mentoring or guiding junior field personnel Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Per diem, travel, and lodging provided Consistent work with a strong project pipeline
Pay:
