Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concrete/Civil Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects with a focus on concrete and civil works. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Overseeing all aspects of commercial & Industrial concrete work, including site preparation, placement, finishing, curing, and quality inspection Duties Order materials, schedule concrete pours, and coordinate ready-mix deliveries and pump trucks Ensure proper formwork, rebar/mesh placement, embeds, and finishing meet plans and tolerances Plan, schedule, and supervise all phases of commercial concrete work (footings, foundations, slabs on grade, elevated decks, walls, sidewalks, light pole bases, paver Review plans, specs, and contract documents to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards Conduct daily safety meetings/toolbox talks and enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance Working knowledge of both commercial concrete practices and industrial flatwork/foundation work Qualifications 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, including at least 2+ years in a supervisory/superintendent role Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and site plans Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, curing, finishing techniques, and formwork Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple jobsites and shift priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Full-time; may require early mornings, occasional evenings/weekends to meet pour schedules or deadlines Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 lbs. regularly Extensive travel throughout the state of Mississippi Join our team as a Concrete/Civil Superintendent where your leadership will drive successful project delivery!
