Job Description

Concrete Foreman - Heavy Civil Construction Dieudonne Enterprises, Inc. - Greater New Orleans Area Full-Time | Hourly Dieudonne Enterprises is hiring an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a concrete crew on heavy civil, roadway, and municipal construction projects throughout the Greater New Orleans area. This is a working foreman position. The foreman will be expected to lead the crew while actively participating in forming, placing, and finishing concrete. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete carpenters, finishers, and laborers Plan and organize daily crew activities and production Lay out concrete work and verify line, grade, elevation, slope, and dimensions Oversee forming, placing, finishing, jointing, and stripping Perform sidewalks, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, roadway concrete, paving, and patching Coordinate concrete pours, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment Read and work from construction plans, details, and specifications Ensure completed work meets project specifications and DE quality standards Track daily production, quantities, manpower, and jobsite conditions Communicate material, equipment, scheduling, and field needs to project management Report additional work, field changes, delays, and potential change-order work to management Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite Train employees and hold crew members accountable for quality, productivity, attendance, and safety Work hands-on with the crew as needed to complete the job Requirements Concrete foreman or equivalent crew leadership experience required Strong concrete carpentry and finishing experience required Experience with curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and roadway concrete preferred Must be able to independently lay out concrete work Must understand grades, elevations, slopes, drainage, and concrete tolerances Must be able to read construction plans and details Must be able to organize and run a concrete crew efficiently Must have your own basic concrete carpentry/finishing hand tools Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Must be dependable and able to report to work on time Must be able to work outdoors in Louisiana weather and perform physically demanding construction work Schedule DE generally works a 4-day, 10-hour schedule . Work schedules may change depending on weather, concrete pours, lane closures, project requirements, and deadlines. Overtime or additional days may be required. Who We're Looking For We need a foreman who can run the work, not just supervise it . The right person should be able to receive an assigned scope, organize the crew, lay out the work, plan ahead for upcoming pours, identify problems before they affect production, and carry the work through completion. We value foremen who take ownership of their jobs, communicate early, maintain quality, and keep their crews productive.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
