You will take immediate, independent ownership of high-impact residential and commercial concrete projects. This role provides the platform to display your elite technical mastery without micromanagement or hand-holding. You will drive projects from initial tear-out through final finish to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.
How You Will Make An Impact:
Execute full-cycle concrete projects from initial demolition and tear-out through final pouring and finishing. Independently find grade and place elevations for concrete forms to divert water, set proper elevations, and ensure accurate drainage. This is a required skill and must have been done independently on previous projects. Independently establish finished elevations ("find grade") for concrete forms using laser levels and string lines. Candidates must be able to determine proper form elevations that provide correct drainage, meet design requirements, and achieve finished grades without supervision. Build and set up robust concrete forms without external guidance or oversight. Direct daily on-site crew operations to keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule. Maintain total quality control over every phase of the driveway and slab installation process.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on concrete installation and crew leadership experience. Proven ability to establish elevations, set string lines, and operate laser grading equipment independently. Complete mastery of concrete finishing, form setting, and full-scale driveway or slab tear-outs. Demonstrated capacity to manage projects from start to finish with absolutely zero training or guidance. Proven experience with concrete saw cutting, including the ability to determine proper cut depth, timing, and joint spacing to control cracking and meet project specifications.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Experience operating heavy machinery utilized in landscape and concrete demolition. Advanced knowledge of specialized decorative concrete or local soil grading conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $30.00 to $38.00+ based on expertise. Opportunities for career growth within an expanding field team.
