Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Structural Concrete Foreman to join our civil engineering / construction team. The Foreman will oversee daily concrete construction activities, supervise field crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on structural concrete experience, and the ability to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules on active construction sites. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate concrete crews and subcontractors on structural concrete projects. Read and interpret construction drawings, structural plans, specifications, and layout information. Oversee forming, reinforcing steel, embeds, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and related activities. Coordinate daily work activities with the Superintendent, Project Manager, engineers, inspectors, and other trades. Ensure work is completed according to project schedules, specifications, and quality requirements. Monitor crew productivity and maintain efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment. Conduct pre-pour inspections and ensure forms, reinforcing steel, embeds, and other components are properly prepared. Coordinate concrete deliveries, pumps, placement operations, testing, and finishing activities. Identify and resolve field issues and communicate changes or concerns to project management. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Train, direct, and mentor field employees and less-experienced crew members. Complete daily reports, timekeeping, material tracking, and other required documentation. Work closely with surveyors, engineers, inspectors, and other project personnel. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in structural concrete construction, with previous foreman or lead-supervisor experience preferred. Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, forming systems, reinforcing steel, placement, and finishing. Ability to read and understand structural drawings and construction specifications. Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements. Ability to lead crews, manage priorities, and maintain production schedules. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10/30
certification is a plus. NCCER or other construction certifications are a plus.
