Job Description

Fisher Sand & Gravel, in Midland, MI, is now hiring qualified CDL Truck Drivers for front-discharge ready mix concrete trucks. All work will be performed locally within the Mid-Michigan area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive under the concrete batching plant hopper to receive the concrete mix. Drive concrete to a predetermined job. Assemble concrete chute. Discharge the concrete down the truck's chute as needed by the customer. Clean truck after delivery in accordance with company standards. Monitor and inspect mechanical operations of the mixer. Report any abnormalities. Complete delivery ticket information in a legible and accurate manner.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a Class A or Class B CDL, with a clean driving record. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Must work well in team environments, with the ability to take instructions from a Supervisor/Dispatcher. Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work extended hours. Any welding, hydraulic, or mechanical experience is beneficial.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
