Job Description

Overview National Ready-Mix is looking for a Ready-Mix Truck Driver. In this role, you will deliver concrete to customers surrounding the South Lyon area and nearby cities. We are looking for drivers with an active CDL Class B with experience driving a mixer. Duties Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready mix concrete to various construction sites. Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries aligned with project schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Assist with loading and unloading materials Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch for scheduling updates. Follow all safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of heavy equipment and adherence to construction site safety standards. Requirements Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles required. Proven experience in construction site environments, particularly with concrete mixer trucks or related heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of concrete pumping, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and formwork is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting trucks and auxiliary equipment like excavators or loaders. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting and manual tasks. Strong communication skills to coordinate deliveries and collaborate effectively with construction teams. Up to $35.25 per hour
