The ideal candidate has experience with concrete and asphalt restoration and is willing to perform a variety of utility construction tasks as needed. This position is a combination of concrete/asphalt restoration and utility construction , making it a good fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and performing different types of construction work. Responsibilities Perform concrete flatwork, including sidewalks, driveways, approaches, curb and gutter, and other restoration. Perform asphalt patching, repairs, and restoration. Saw cut, remove, form, pour, finish, and restore concrete. Prepare surfaces for concrete and asphalt installation. Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, saws, and other construction equipment. Assist with excavation, backfilling, grading, and site restoration. Assist utility crews with installation and maintenance of underground utilities. Perform tasks related to conduit, fiber optic, telecommunications, and other utility construction. Work around existing underground utilities and follow proper safety procedures. Assist with trenching, placing materials, pulling conduit, and general labor as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment. Follow company safety policies, project specifications, and quality standards. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in concrete, asphalt, or general construction required. Experience with concrete finishing, forming, saw cutting, and asphalt restoration preferred. Utility, telecommunications, excavation, or underground construction experience is a plus. Ability to operate construction equipment and hand/power tools. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Strong attention to safety and quality. Willingness to learn utility construction practices. What We're Looking For We are looking for hard-working, dependable individuals who take pride in their work . The right candidate doesn't necessarily need extensive utility experience, but must be willing to learn and assist with utility construction when needed. Concrete/asphalt experience is the primary focus of this position, with utility work becoming an additional part of the job.
