In this vital role, you will operate concrete pumping equipment to deliver concrete efficiently and safely on various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality results on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, contribute to large-scale construction initiatives, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate concrete pumping equipment, including boom pumps and line pumps, ensuring precise placement of concrete on construction sites Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery to guarantee optimal performance and safety compliance Coordinate with project managers and crew members to plan and execute concrete pouring schedules effectively Follow all safety regulations, including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, to maintain a secure work environment Maintain accurate documentation of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and safety checks Support other heavy equipment operation such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and concrete mixers to facilitate seamless project progress Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of the pump and related equipment. Requirements Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations for commercial vehicles Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as concrete pumps, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues Familiarity with construction site safety protocols, including OSHA standards Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, volume estimations, and load capacities Experience working on civil infrastructure projects involving concrete pouring Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and adhering to safety procedures consistently Qualifications Previous concrete pumping experience preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment or construction machinery. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate and maneuver large equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and construction crews. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends when needed. Must be safety-conscious and able to follow directions and jobsite procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating a concrete boom pump or line pump.
