Concrete Foreman Dirks Heavy Contractors Job Type:
Full-Time Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Lead the Crew. Build Quality. Deliver Results. Dirks Heavy Contractors is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete crews on commercial, municipal, and heavy civil construction projects. We are looking for a hands-on leader with proven experience in curb forming, concrete placement, finishing, and crew leadership who takes pride in delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently with integrity. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete crews on multiple job sites. Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications. Lay out work and organize daily crew activities. Build and oversee installation of curb and gutter forms. Supervise concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control. Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity. Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards. Enforce all company and OSHA safety requirements. Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, subcontractors, and customers. Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project schedule. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of concrete construction experience , with significant experience leading crews. Extensive experience with curb forming and curb & gutter construction . Experience on commercial, municipal, DOT, or heavy civil concrete projects. Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems, grading, finishing, and placement techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. CDL is a plus! Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Leads with honesty, integrity & respect.
