Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher and Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist in the completion of concrete projects by performing essential finishing tasks, supporting concrete pouring and formwork, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your energetic approach and dedication will contribute to delivering durable, visually appealing concrete surfaces on a variety of construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in concrete finishing, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation while working on diverse projects that shape communities. Responsibilities Assist with concrete pouring, spreading, and leveling to achieve smooth, even surfaces according to project specifications. Support the installation of rebar and formwork, ensuring proper placement and stability for concrete structures. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete surfaces. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications. Perform concrete finishing tasks such as troweling, edging, and smoothing to meet quality standards. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members. Support heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to keep the work area organized and efficient. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation. Experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in concrete forming, formwork construction, and rebar installation techniques. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and safety protocol adherence. Ability to operate power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, heavy equipment, and commercial vehicles when necessary. Skilled in working on construction projects involving renovation, restoration, roofing, stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, or plastering. Strong understanding of schematics for metal stud framing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), caulking, and other finishing trades. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
