We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead a crew doing curb/gutter/sidewalks on road construction projects across Kansas City. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations on site, coordinate teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex infrastructure projects, utilizing your skills in blueprint reading, project scheduling, and safety regulation adherence to make a tangible impact on the city's infrastructure. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a concrete crew on road projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide construction activities accurately Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Primavera to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation Manage subcontractors and vendors, overseeing contracts and ensuring compliance with project requirements Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety standards (including OSHA regulations), and adherence to construction regulations Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, cost control, and progress reporting while managing teams in a construction management role Review construction schedules regularly for coordination of activities such as pipeline installation or heavy civil work Experience Proven supervisory experience in heavy civil or public works projects with a strong background in curb, gutter, and sidewalks Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Familiarity with construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or equivalent tools Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project scheduling best practices Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and procurement processes effectively Strong understanding of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations related to construction sites Compensation Base salary range of $90
