Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman to lead commercial new construction concrete crews and oversee daily operations on commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide construction activities accurately. Coordinate construction schedule Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and clarity before work begins. Enforce OSHA regulations and federal safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Oversee quality control processes, including construction safety management and inspection of work for compliance with plans and regulations. Manage crew assignments, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with project managers regarding schedule updates or issues. Ensure proper use of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices, work quality, and adherence to construction regulations. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Assist in budgeting tasks by tracking costs related to labor, materials, and equipment usage. Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately using tools such as an ohmmeter when necessary for electrical or instrumentation work. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on-site. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Prolog, HeavyBid, and related tools. Solid understanding of construction scheduling, blueprint reading, project coordination, and technical drawing review. Knowledge of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations essential for maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting processes, and contract management including review of contracts. Construction site experience in commercial or heavy civil projects is required; familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus. Ability to interpret schematics accurately using testing tools such as an ohmmeter when necessary for electrical components or instrumentation systems. Valid management certifications or training in construction safety management is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
