This position is quality control for precast concrete erection. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both precast concrete fabrication and erection. This position requires meticulousness to effectively document product issues as well as daily erection. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in documentation of work, inspection of product for discrepancies, and communication with the field and office personnel. About the Job The job entails the build of a large precast structure in West Texas. Applicants must be able to temporarily relocate to the job location for the duration of the project. Per diem and travel reimbursement is available for applicants that meet the qualifications. Applicants must be available to work weekends and Holidays as needed. Qualifications Ability to read and understand project plans / blue prints. Maintain accurate and legible documentation of installed precast pieces daily. Must be able to perform string and dimensions checks on product in the field and compare to project plans as needed. Must be able to effectively communicate issues as they may occur. Demonstrate experience in problem-solving and teamwork. Computer/Ipad competency using Outlook, MS Office products including Word, and Excel. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees. Commitment to building a positive culture. Must be able to stand in outdoor environment for long durations. Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years in Quality Control/Assurance position in field construction Experience in inspection of precast concrete fabrication and installation Ample field experience working in outdoor construction environments Familiarity with construction software such as Bluebeam and ability to perform mark-ups of any field issues as they may occur. •Drug free workplace.
