Your Role Provide on-site leadership for concrete construction scopes, managing crews, subcontractors, sequencing, safety, and quality from pre-pour planning through placement and closeout. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day field operations for concrete work Coordinate crews, formwork, pours, finishing, and curing activities Maintain look-ahead schedules and plan manpower, equipment, and materials Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site inspections Review drawings and resolve constructability issues with project teams Track progress and communicate schedule or quality risks What You Bring Concrete construction leadership experience and strong field coordination skills Ability to lead crews and hold trade partners accountable Clear communication, problem-solving, and pride in quality work Experience 5+ years of field supervision in concrete construction (forms, pours, finishing, sequencing). Demonstrated ability to plan work, manage production, and drive safety/quality outcomes. Education & Certifications High School Diploma or GED required; Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent field experience preferred. OSHA 30 strongly preferred/required for supervisory roles; competent-person certifications as applicable. Tools & Software Procore and Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to use planning/scheduling tools (look-ahead planning). Work Location, Environment & Travel Requirements Primarily on an active project site and/or jobsite trailer; frequent walking of work areas and coordination with multiple trades. May require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), exposure to weather and loud environments, and occasional lifting/moving of 25-50 lbs. Work hours may vary by project. This role may require shifts or extended hours depending on project demands, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Travel may be required based on project assignment. Projects are primarily within the St. Louis region, with flexibility and readiness to support work outside the local market as Tarlton expands.
