Job Summary:
As the Concrete Finisher, you will provide attentive and quality finishing skills in building foundations with crew. Become an integral part of team and support crew in whatever capacity needed on jobsite. Be a team member your crew can rely on to always be, on time and ready to work. Position Responsibilities:
Direct and Supervise Flatwork Laborers and Flatwork Finishers 2 in the performance of their duties Read plans and install forms, block outs, vapor barrier and reinforcement per the drawings Supervise form setting and check for grade, plumb, and straightness Verify subgrade, check that all thickened slab footings are accounted for and in place Set anchor bolt templates per shop drawings Layout rebar templates for all vertical bar Supervise the setting grade pins and screed rails Supervise the setup of laser screeds, confirming and checking all benchmarks Establish grades, set up all types of residential concrete, including stoops and patios Supervise the placement and tying of reinforcement Form residential stoops and patios Establish Grades and slopes per the drawings, set string lines and benchmarks accordingly Determine what cold or hot weather measures to observe Conduct Daily job site hazard analysis and mitigation
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License 1-3 years of experience in Concrete Finishing (preferred)

Working Conditions:
This position involves work at construction sites where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors. Both cold and warm conditions will be experienced, including inclement weather. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Hours are often 10 or more hours a day, 50 or more hours a week, as work demands. Work hours can be seasonal.
