Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties:

• Prepare concrete surfaces by setting forms and ensuring proper alignment
• Rake gravel to grade and run compaction equipment.
• Pour and spread concrete using various tools and techniques
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces using hand or power tools
• Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, edging, and brooming
• Create decorative finishes such as stamping or staining
• Repair damaged concrete surfaces as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

None needed but preferred

• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
• Knowledge of commercial driving for transporting equipment and materials
• Familiarity with concrete pumping equipment and techniques
• Carpentry skills for formwork construction
• Ability to renovate existing concrete structures
• Understanding of masonry and stucco applications
• Proficiency in working with power tools commonly used in concrete finishing
• Knowledge of equipment operation to dig/ level dirt and rock to prep surface to set forms.
