The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience in construction, ensuring high-quality finishes on various concrete projects. Duties Prepare and finish concrete surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques. Operate concrete mixers and other power tools to mix and pour concrete. Install rebar and perform concrete forming to create structures as per project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process. Conduct restoration work, including plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in concrete finishing with a strong understanding of construction processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with hardscape techniques, masonry, tile laying, and flooring installation is preferred. Experience in carpentry, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed on job sites. Knowledge of caulking, welding, metal stud framing, and renovation practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration on construction sites.
