Senior Concrete Superintendent - Self-perform GC (Commercial/Industrial/Manufacturing Construction)
Location:
Charlotte, NC About the Opportunity A well-established general contractor with a strong industrial and manufacturing construction portfolio is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial, industrial and warehouse projects in the Charlotte market. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep concrete expertise, including tilt-wall construction, who thrives managing complex sitework and structural concrete scopes from the ground up.
What You'll Do:
Oversee all field operations for concrete scopes on industrial, warehouse, and manufacturing projects, including tilt-wall panel construction from formwork through erection Manage subcontractor crews, sequencing, and quality control across foundations, slabs, tilt-up panels, and structural concrete Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and owners to keep schedules and budgets on track Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company protocols Read and interpret structural drawings, concrete specs, and mix designs Lead daily site coordination, progress meetings, and manpower planning Troubleshoot field issues in real time and drive solutions that keep projects moving
What You Bring:
5+ years of superintendent experience on commercial construction projects, with a strong concrete background Direct hands-on experience with tilt-wall/tilt-up construction Background in industrial, warehouse, and/or manufacturing facility construction Strong understanding of concrete means and methods, formwork systems, and structural sequencing Proven ability to manage multiple trade partners and keep large-scale projects on schedule OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced field environment

Pay:
$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
