Concrete Laborer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to concrete work, including mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete for various projects. The Concrete Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our construction operations.

Duties:

Mix and pour concrete according to specifications Assist in the installation of rebar and concrete forms Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment as needed Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Perform heavy lifting and manual labor on construction sites Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols Assist in renovation, restoration, and hardscape projects as required

Experience:

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in concrete work Familiarity with construction estimating techniques Experience with concrete finishing, plastering, carpentry, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing is advantageous Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety regulations on construction sites Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete work Please call for more information Carolina 910-305-1627!
